Your own resulting profile

Create your own classifications

AITracker retains detailed model recognitions, and in the Classification Editor you can combine them into categories required for a specific project or report.

  • select a built-in classification or create a copy of it;
  • drag source labels to your own result classes;
  • save the profile and use it in subsequent measurements.

AITracker supports vehicle and pedestrian classifications required for the most frequently performed measurements:

  • Polish General Traffic Survey (GPR) (pl.gpr) — classification in accordance with GPR2020 requirements

  • Extended Polish General Traffic Survey (GPR) (pl.gpr.rozszerzony) — GPR2020 classification extended to include new categories introduced in the guidelines of the Ministry of Infrastructure of December 2022.

  • Light — Heavy (pl.lekkieciezkie) - classification defined in accordance with the requirements of GDDKiA for SCPR

  • Euro-6 (pl.euro-6) — classification in accordance with the requirements of GDDKiA

  • 8+1 (pl.8+1) — classification in accordance with the requirements of GDDKiA, used in SCPR

  • Bicycles and pedestrians — classification from the regulation of the Ministry of Infrastructure of December 2022

New guidelines The Ministry of Infrastructure regarding traffic measurements is expanding the GPR classification with additional classes. Category A is divided into subcategories

  • a1.bikes
  • a2.uto - personal transport devices, e.g. Segways
  • a3.electric scooters

Category I is also divided into subcategories

  • i1.pedestrians
  • i2. pedestrians with special needs, e.g. a person in a wheelchair or a mother pushing a stroller
  • i3. pedestrians UWR - devices supporting movement, e.g. skateboards, roller skates

Euro-6 classification
What new categories do the 2022 guidelines introduce?
What new categories do the 2022 guidelines introduce?

To meet Euro-6 requirements, AITracker recognizes passenger/commercial vehicles with trailers.

The Euro-6 classification defines the following vehicle categories

  • b.motorcycles
  • cd. passenger cars and delivery vans,
  • c2.passenger cars and delivery vans with trailers
  • e.trucks
  • f.trucks with trailers or semi-trailers
  • g.buses
8+1 / SCPR classification
What vehicle categories are defined by the Euro-6 classification?

We recognize a separate category of buses with or without windows to meet both GPR and SCPR requirements.

The 8+1 classification (used mainly for central traffic measurement stations) defines the following vehicle categories. It is worth noting that delivery vans with windows in delivery parts (as in GPR) are often defined as passenger cars in this category. This is due to the recognition of these vehicles by induction loops at measuring stations.

  • b.motorcycles
  • c1.passenger
  • c2.passenger cars and delivery vans with trailers
  • d. delivery vehicles
  • e.trucks
  • f1.trucks with trailers
  • f2.trucks with semi-trailer
  • g.buses
  • h.other unusual vehicles
Simplified classification

The simplified classification divides vehicles into light and heavy. Based on the 8+1 categories, we can define two classes of vehicles in a simplified classification.

  • light is the sum of b+c1+c2+d+h
  • heavy is the sum of e+f1+f2+g
Additional AITracker categories

AITracker recognizes two additional categories.

  • The first is trains and trams. The category is useful for measuring railway crossings and urban measurements, where a tram could be confused with a bus.
  • The second one is horse-drawn vehicles and carriages. The category is useful for measurements in tourist destinations, where the carriage could be confused by AI with another vehicle.
