📹 Technical parameters of the recording
Minimum resolution: 640x480 px and recommended HD 1280x720 (1MPix) or higher
Minimum frame rate: 15 FPS
🔸 The more frames per second, the smoother the object tracking becomesRecording format: avi, mp4, dav, flv, wmv, tc, h265 (or other standard video formats)
Encoding: Basic AVI, MPEG, MP$ encoding and H264/H265 encoding also with variable frame rate,
Minimum video length: 90 seconds
We support a large number of video formats and encodings and are constantly expanding our capabilities.
Attention AITracker! For videos with variable frame rate, the seek() function of the video jump in the AITracker GUI program does not work properly!
Attention! We do not support interlaced videos, which store alternating even/odd image lines. Wikipedia
📁Video file naming
For the AITracker system to automatically recognize the recording date and time, the video file name must contain this information. This information is necessary to correctly assign measurements to a specific time period.
🔎 How does it work?
The system does not read the time from the recording image (e.g. the clock displayed in the corner of the video). The only source of time information is the file name and frame number. This means that proper file naming is crucial.
📅 What should the file name contain?
The recording start date and time
✅ Supported filename formats
We support many popular formats found in industrial cameras and monitoring systems. Here are some examples:
12/05/00-12/10/00[R][0@0][0]
02-OMAZ_2021-05-06_2355_0000
R51_ch1_Main_20210408100000_20210408110000(1)
063732_100_044419723_0300.h264
SCPR_12002_BOCHNIA_cam2_20231213001158_20231213001751_97842
Attention! The system defines the time in the recording only by the name and frame number! We do not have the option to read the clock image saved inside the video frame!
